Massey Aircraft Service is owned and operated by David Hallmark, licensed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) Mechanic. David began working for Massey Aircraft Service in 1987 and purchased the business in 2009. Massey Aircraft Service has a rich history in maintenance and repair of agricultural and vintage aircraft. Their projects have included Grumman Ag Cats, Boeing Stearman, Cessna 195, Waco, and a variety of Warbirds. Through the years, Massey Aircraft Service has expanded their aircraft maintenance and repair to include general aviation, gliders, experimental, and race aircraft. They also provide a wide range of services, such as welding, upholstery, fiber glass, carbon fiber layups, metal fabrication, electronics, engine replacements, builder assistance on experimental aircraft, annual inspection, and general maintenance.
